We Need You!

How it works

Sponsor families are matched with families in need.  Caring Through Sharing maintains each family’s confidentiality. Each sponsor family is asked to fill one box of food ($35 value) on a monthly basis to be distributed by CTS volunteers direct to select families. We ask that you make a commitment of at least one full year. The commitment will promote a sense of stability in the lives of those less fortunate.

 Click Here to see an example of the kinds of food items we would like you to donate.  You are more than welcome to customize your box according to your family and the number of children.

CTS encourages your sponsored family to write a note each month. We keep everything anonymous by assigning the sponsor family and the family in need a matching CTS ID number. Once you sign up and we match you with a family in need you will receive your welcome packet, including your family ID number. We ask that you write your ID number on your box each month so that we deliver your box to your sponsored family.

If your schedule is hectic and you are unable to fill a box of food and drop it off on a monthly basis we always welcome monthly gift cards. An CTS volunteer will shop for you, fill your box and make sure your family in need receives their box.
